I approach this my first blog with abit of apprehension. It is the thought of having my thoughts being thought by other thinking people that gives me pause. But you know it really doesn't matter because I feel like I have to begin this process for my own heart to heal properly.
I named this blog "Undivide My Heart", which is taken from Psalms 86.11 The psalmist says, "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name."
I have spent most of my life living with a divided heart - split between seeking after God and seeking after me.
I want my heart to be undivided, one heart seeking God. I have written a song about it. I post it here in this first blog to renew my commitment to a undivided heart.

Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Undivide my soul
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Make me whole
verse1
I want to live each day of my life loving you more and more ...
And with each day be further away from all that I was before.
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Undivide my soul
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Make me whole
verse2
Get rid of my sin, confess all my lies, unlock all the doors where sin hides
Capture my thoughts, control what I see, decide they'll be no hint of sin in me.
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Undivide my soul
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Make me whole
bridge
You said very clear, "Be holy like me."
with this there can be no doubt.
I cry out, "Dear Lord, Be holy like you?"
How can I live this out?
Help me to starve my doubts!
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Undivide my soul
Undivide my heart, Lord Jesus
Make me whole
